top to bottom: koda kumi, tsubasa masuwaka, angelababy, park min young

i'm not making this post to speculate on what surgeries celebrities/models did, nor am i here to bash them. i've seen so many sites and forums with people bashing about the surgical procedures that celebs/models had done. and some hadn't even had any work done-- aging, diet and exercise, makeup, photo studio lighting can dramatically change a person's looks. and if they did have plastic surgery, people like to exaggerate and pretend "x" was so hideous. i think it is just cruel, not all models or celebs get plastic surgery... but because they are in the public eye there is more pressure to look their best- and they have the money to look better. as long as it is not something to do with the case of body dysmorphia; like getting insanely puffy cheeks and lips to the point your face looks like a hot air balloon; i don't see any problem in plastic surgery. i can understand why other girls would want plastic surgery, girls want to feel pretty, sometimes it is for others to look their best- but most of the times we change our looks to make ourselves happy. as long as a girl can stay true to herself and spread her happiness to others there's nothing wrong with changing your hair color, wearing makeup, or getting plastic surgery. and specifically for asians- there are the extreme temporary changes from eye tape and eye glue

a lot of people criticize asian girls who like to wear circle lenses, dye their hair, and change their eye shape. i don't think it's because they want to look more white, but features such as big eyes and high noses are just viewed as more attractive- it has nothing to do with wanting to be white. although it is an extreme, as long as its just for fun- like a once in a while thing and the girl isn't disillusioned that her "asian features" are also beautiful then it's also tolerable.

makeovers:
i think hyuna looks so glamorous and gorgeous after she lost 40 pounds! she stayed away from foods made from flour and avoided taking the elevator, her face seems to get smaller every year; must be from dancing and diet

i was really suprised when i saw this in a recent popteen issue, i never would have though okarie's face was that big. i thought she was really small. but that just shows that hair really does a lot to help a girl right :) i thought it was really brave of her to go out and do that shoot.

this is k-pop's girl group member from secret jun hyosung. i think she pulls the blonde hair look off really well.

she also had purple, silver-ish hair; i think it's really cute on her.

so i hope that this post will help stop the badgering of girls who have had plastic surgery, we should learn to accept and live without a grudge in our hearts. as long as she is happy that's all that matters, whats the point in arguing over what work she has done on her face?

I think audience should appreciate celebrities' makeup/fashion/beauty instead of criticizing or spectulating if they got surgery done! :)
